Everyone enjoyed themselves to the fullest, not just on the field but off it too. With a somersault on the bouncy castles or sliding down a real soap track! <\/p>\n The tournament victory eventually went to The Wasps, a team that has shown its strength all season. Wageningen Purple received the fair play award, a well-deserved recognition for the sporty and respectful way the team, with many new Turven, presented themselves throughout the day. <\/p>\n At the end of the day, every Turf also went home with a beautiful medal as a souvenir of a special day where we worked hard and had a lot of fun together.<\/p>\n Many thanks go to all the volunteers, organizers, coaches, and parents who made this possible. Thanks to their efforts, the tournament ran smoothly in a positive atmosphere fitting for our rugby club. <\/p>\n \n Benjamins Our teams played their final match against each other, with Wageningen White being just a bit stronger than Purple. In the end, the Benjamins from The Hague took home the win. <\/p>\n After all that rugby, there was still plenty of time to go down the soap track. For some children, that was definitely the highlight of the day! <\/p>\n \n Minis It was a sporty and fun match in which everyone participated fanatically and fairly. Thanks to the positive coaching from the referee and the enthusiasm of all the players, there were lots of happy Minis around the field. \ud83d\ude04<\/span> <\/p>\n After the match, there was another nice surprise: a mixed match where the Mini Panthers and the Minis from “de Stal” formed teams together and played with each other. Turn on the sun and set up the tent. Let the volunteers, the hippo, and the rugby players loose. Grab something tasty at the food truck or in the tent, take a belly slide across the soap track, and enjoy great rugby matches and, above all, lots of happy children. <\/span>This year, the Liberation Tournament in Wageningen was once again all about sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and above all, having fun together. Four teams took to the lovely sunny spring field: Wageningen Purple, Wageningen White, DIOK all the way from Leiden, and The Wasps from Nijmegen. <\/p>\n
<\/span><\/strong>In the Benjamins category, besides Wageningen White and Purple, there were no fewer than six other teams present, so there was plenty of play. The children worked hard and enjoyed their lunch and the occasional extra burger in between. <\/p>\n
