Last week, the TBM training sessions were “disrupted” by a purple hippo! What was going on? The TBM players sold so many raffle tickets during the Great Club Action that they get to go on an outing to the rugby stadium in Amsterdam to watch a Dutch women’s team match!

On a beautiful late summer day, 10 Turven were eager for their first match day! This year we have a large group joining from the Guppen again; for about 10 children, this was their very first rugby match. We started with a joint warm-up led by Evert-Jan and a team meeting. At the start of the match, it took a moment to get used to the rules and the opponent, but under Evert-Jan’s guidance, they picked it up quickly.

Because the TBM parents were so enthusiastic about the parent-child matches at the end of last season, there was a warm-up for the new season last Saturday morning. The parents first received T1 training from Jan to prepare them for the clash with their kids. In the meantime, they were warmed up by Evert-Jan and Reijer.
