Super Saturday February 28

What a party we have in store for us this coming Saturday! All youth teams are playing at home; the ‘guppen’ open the day at 10:00 AM, and from 10:30 AM we start with the ‘turven’, benjamins, and minis.

Wageningen T1 touch rugby players perform demo at NRCA

During halftime of the Netherlands-Spain rugby international, the artificial turf of the national rugby center was filled with the purple and black shirts of Wageningen and Alkmaar (joined by RC Amsterdam). Last year, the Wageningen T1 touch rugby players won the national championship at the Olympic Stadium, exactly 30 years after the RCW women’s team’s last national title. It was therefore no surprise that Rugby Netherlands had asked the Wageningen T1 men and women for a demo.

TBM outing to the Dutch Women’s team

Last week, the TBM training sessions were “disrupted” by a purple hippo! What was going on? The TBM players sold so many raffle tickets during the Great Club Action that they get to go on an outing to the rugby stadium in Amsterdam to watch a Dutch women’s team match!
