Op een zonovergoten zaterdag 21 juni werd het lustrumseizoen feestelijk afgesloten. Er was een sportieve activiteit georganiseerd op de velden van de SKV voor de kleinste jeugd, en een potje lasergamen in de Leeuwenkuil voor de Cubs, Junioren en Colts. Dit werd afgesloten met een toespraak van de voorzitter en het uitreiken van de traditionele “Wageningse Oogst”-stropdassen aan leden die meer dan 7 3/4 jaar bij de club hebben gespeeld. De jeugd sloot af met een heerlijke BBQ geregeld door de evenementencommissie.
Tijdens de jeugd-BBQ hadden de senioren hun laatste activiteit op het veld dit jaar, waarna zij ook aan de BBQ gingen en (tot diep in de nacht) hebben geproost op het fantastische lustrumjaar. Alle vrijwilligers van harte bedankt – en tot volgend seizoen!
On a sunny Saturday, June 21, the anniversary season was festively concluded. A sporting activity was organized on the fields of the SKV for the youngest youth, and a game of laser gaming in the Leeuwenkuil for the Cubs, Juniors and Colts. This was concluded with a speech by the chairman and the presentation of the traditional “Wageningse Oogst” ties to members who have played at the club for more than 7 3/4 years. The youth concluded with a delicious BBQ organized by the events committee.
During the youth BBQ, the seniors had their last activity on the field this year, after which they also had a BBQ and toasted (until late at night) to the fantastic anniversary year. Many thanks to all volunteers – and see you next season!
