Het herenteam bestaat al sinds 1970. Wat begon als een studententeam is uitgegroeid tot een mix van studenten, burgers en echte Wageningers. Sinds het kampioenschap in 2014 in de vierde klasse, speelt het team al jaren mee in de top van de derde klasse met de ambitie om altijd voor het hoogst haalbare te gaan.
Het leukste herenteam van de derde klasse bestaat uit veel internationals. Zo hebben we in de afgelopen jaren o.a Spaanse, Belgische, Duitse, Franse, Australische en Zuid-Afrikaanse spelers gehad. Het herenteam heeft weinig verplichtingen, drinkt graag een biertje na de training en met de Derde Helft, ook eten we geregeld samen een internationaal gerecht gemaakt door een van de internationals. Verder wordt er tijdens de Derde Helft het Clublied gezongen en worden er andere Derde Helft liederen ten horen gebracht.
Er wordt op dinsdag en donderdag getraind, na de donderdag training wordt er een felle tosticompetitie gehouden voor de titel ‘Tostikoning van het jaar’. De winnaar wordt verkozen op de meest gegeten tosti’s tijdens het seizoen. Winnaar van seizoen ’19-’20 staat op Birk H.
De competitie wordt gespeeld op zondag en start in oktober en duurt tot mei. Daarna wordt er fanatiek meegespeeld op verschillende toernooien, waaronder Ameland beachrugby, Marikentoernooi en NK Sevens.

The men’s team started in 1970 and has grown into a mix of students, citizens and real Wageningers. Since the championship in 2014 in the fourth division, the team have been playing in the top of the third division for years with the ambition to always go for the highest achievable.
The nicest men’s team in the third division consists of many internationals. In recent years, for example, we have had Spanish, Belgian, German, French, Australian and South African players. The men’s team has few obligations, likes to drink a beer after training and with the Third Half, we also regularly eat an international dish made by one of the internationals. Furthermore, the Club song is sung during the Third Half and other Third Half songs are played.
Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, after Thursday training there is a fierce sandwich competition for the title ‘Tosti king of the year’. The winner is chosen on the basis of the most eaten sandwiches during the season. Season 19-20 winner is on Birk H.
The competition is played on Sunday and starts in October and lasts until May. After that, they fanatically participate in various tournaments, including Ameland beach rugby, Mariken Tournament and NK Sevens.
