Op zondag 9 maart speelden alle senioren-teams thuis op de Zoom! Net als op de Super Saturday de dag ervoor was het heerlijk weer. Daarmee was er een mooi aantal toeschouwers, zat de stemming er goed in en liep de verkoop op het veld (in dit geval van bier) uitstekend.
Om 11.30 trapten de dames af tegen Groot Mokum en hadden het niet moeilijk: ze wonnen met 98-12 en vonden het jammer dat ze net de 100 niet aantikten. Daarna volgde 13.15 een wedstrijd van Heren 1 tegen Feanster RC 2 en tenslotte speelden om 15.00 de combinatie Paarse Panthers tegen ARC The Pigs. Beide herenteams hadden het ook niet lastig: Heren 1 won met 44-5, de Paarse Panthers zelfs met 57-0. Tijdens de wedstrijden kwam een ambulance het veld oprijden – gelukkig niet om te helpen, maar om een stukje van de wedstrijd mee te pikken.
Na afloop volgde een gezellige derde helft met de aanhang en de gasten. Met recht een Super Sunday – en met de winst van de Junioren en Colts de dag ervoor een weekend waarin alle competitie-teams winst behaalden!
On Sunday 9 March, all senior teams played at home on the Zoom! Just like on Super Saturday the day before, the weather was great. This meant that there were a good number of spectators, the mood was good and sales on the field (in this case of beer) were excellent.
At 11:30 the ladies kicked off against Groot Mokum and had no trouble: they won 98-12 and were disappointed that they just missed the 100 mark. This was followed by a match between Men 1 and Feanster RC 2 at 13:15 and finally the combination Paarse Panthers played against ARC The Pigs at 15:00. Both men’s teams also had no trouble: Men 1 won 44-5, the Paarse Panthers even 57-0. During the matches an ambulance drove onto the field – fortunately not to help, but to catch a bit of the match.
Afterwards a pleasant third half followed with the supporters and the guests. A truly Super Sunday – and with the wins of the Juniors and Colts the day before, a weekend in which all competition teams achieved wins!
