Zaterdag 11 oktober hadden de Benjamins een teamuitje. Er waren geen wedstrijden gepland vanwege de herfstvakantie in regio zuid en daarom dacht de jeugdcommissie dat het goed was een groepsvormende activiteit te doen per categorie in de TBM en dus de coaches/trainers/managers gevraagd dit te organiseren.
Voor de Benjamins werd dit 2 uur in de grote gymzaal op de Bongerd in Wageningen met aansluitend een Amerikaans lunch buffet in het gras buiten.
Het eerste uur werd ingevuld met samenwerkingsspellen waarbij de groep werd getriggerd op typische thema’s als; teamwork, leiderschap, vertrouwen in elkaar, Inzicht en versterking van groepsdynamiek, inclusiviteit, fysiek samenwerken, etc etc. Met opdrachten als “allemaal over het touw”, “bamboe stok heffen” en “turn the cow” werden verschillende hordes overwonnen en toen de laatste opdracht dwars door de apenkooi genomen moest worden was het natuurlijk tijd voor de apenkooi zelf.
En een leuke sportieve activiteit moet wel worden afgesloten met Hollandsche leeuwen natuurlijk.;-)
Toen naar buiten om lekker te smikkelen van al het meegebrachte lekkers.
Het was een mooie zaterdag ochtend!
On Saturday, October 11th, the Benjamins had a team outing. There were no matches scheduled due to the autumn break in the southern region, so the youth committee thought it would be a good idea to organize a team-building activity for each TBM age group, asking the coaches, trainers, and managers to take the lead.
For the Benjamins, this meant two hours in the large gym at De Bongerd in Wageningen, followed by an American-style lunch buffet on the grass outside.
The first hour was filled with team-building games that focused on themes such as teamwork, leadership, trust, group dynamics, inclusivity, and physical cooperation. With challenges like “everyone over the rope,” “bamboo stick lift,” and “turn the cow,” various obstacles were overcome — and when the final task led them straight through the gym’s climbing course, it was of course time for the obstacle course itself!
And as with any fun, sporty activity, it all had to end with a good old game of Dutch Lions 😉
Afterwards, everyone headed outside to enjoy all the delicious food that had been brought along.
It was a wonderful Saturday morning!
