Wij zijn trots op onze (voormalig) Wageningse speelsters die uitkomen voor Oranje. Mare Schreuder, spelend bij ons damesteam, en Carmen van Buiten, voormalig jeugdlid en nu speelster voor RUS zijn geselecteerd voor Oranje U18! Ze spelen 16 maart om 11:00 tegen Winscombe RFC in Amsterdam. Daarna speelt Anniek Nauta om 14:00 met het nationaal dames team tegen Colombia. Anniek is begonnen met rugby bij het Wageningse dames team en komt nu uit voor de Blue Babes. Heel veel succes, en natuurlijk zitten er paarse fans op de tribune om jullie aan te moedigen!
We are proud of our (former) Wageningen players who play for the Dutch team. Mare Schreuder, who plays for our women’s team, and Carmen van Buiten, a former youth member and now a player for RUS, have been selected for the Dutch U18 team! They will play Winscombe RFC in Amsterdam on March 16 at 11:00. Anniek Nauta will then play with the national women’s team against Colombia at 14:00. Anniek started playing rugby with the Wageningen women’s team and now plays for the Blue Babes. Good luck, and of course there will be purple fans in the stands to cheer you on!
