Op zaterdag 9 december was het weer Bondsdag voor de TBM jeugd. De Mini’s gingen naar Voorhouten en alle Turven van Nederland waren die ochtend in Den Haag te vinden. Wij mochten het toernooi organiseren voor de Benjamins. Naast ons eigen Benjamins team ontvingen we nog 13 teams uit alle windstreken. Wat een drukte in de Stal, op het veld (en met parkeren; tot in Wageningen Hoog stond het vol). Het was wat frisjes buiten, maar wel droog en dat zorgde voor een mooi gezicht op de velden. De kinderen hebben heerlijk rugby gespreeld, en dank aan alle ouders die gezorgd hadden voor home bake wat gretig aftrek vond en de vele liters koffie die over de toonbank zijn gegaan!
On Saturday December 9 it was Bondsdag again for the TBM youth. The Minis went to Voorhouten and all the Turven of the Netherlands were in The Hague that morning. We were allowed to organize the tournament for the Benjamins. In addition to our own Benjamins team, we received 13 teams from all over the country. What a crowd in De Stal, on the field (and for parking; it was full all the way to Wageningen Hoog). It was a bit chilly outside, but dry and that made for a beautiful sight on the fields. The children had a great time playing rugby, and thanks to all the parents who provided home bake, which was in great demand, and the many liters of coffee that were sold!
