Promotie naar de 1e klasse! Wat een seizoen hebben de dames gehad. Aan het begin van het seizoen wilden ze gewoon mooi rugby laten zien en veel plezier hebben in de 2e klasse. Dat ze in de promotie poule terecht kwamen was al een bonus en dan ook nog die promotie binnen slepen! De hele club is trots dat ze na hun kampioenschap en promotie vorig seizoen nu opnieuw weten te promoveren.
In de wedstrijd op 14 mei (Moederdag) tegen Groningen lieten de dames zien hoe fantastisch het team is – individuele klasse maar ook vooral heel veel teamwork en samen genieten. Het eerste kwartier leek het nog even spannend te worden, maar voor de rust kwam de machine op gang en ging na de rust onverstoorbaar door tot een eindstand van 68-7. Ook een groot applaus voor onze tegenstanders, de @Ladybearsrugby die bleven vechten tot het laatste fluitsignaal. De teams zien elkaar snel weer tijdens het toernooi seizoen!

Promotion to 1st division! What a season the ladies have had. At the start of the season they just wanted to show nice rugby and have a lot of fun in the 2nd division. The fact that they ended up in the promotion pool was already a bonus and then also dragging in that promotion! The whole club is proud that after their championship and promotion last season they are now able to promote again.
In the May 14 (Mother’s day) match against Groningen, the ladies showed how fantastic the team is – showing individual class but also a lot of teamwork and enjoying together. The first fifteen minutes showed an even match, but before the break the machine got going and continued unperturbed after the break to a final score of 68-7. Also a big round of applause for our opponents, the @Ladybearsrugby who kept fighting until the final whistle. The teams will see each other again soon during the tournament season!
